  • Click here to get the Browser Extension.
  • Click the settings/hamburger icon on the Mozilla Firefox toolbar.
  • Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
  • Under Search section, find at "Default Search Engine" Swisscows in the displayed list and select it.

Google Chrome

  • Click here to get the Browser Extension.
  • Click the settings/three dots icon on the Google Chrome toolbar (top right).
  • Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
  • Under Search engine section, click Manage search engines and site search
  • Find Swisscows in the displayed list and click Activate.

Brave

  • Click on the hamburger menu in the upper right corner.
  • Select Settings.
  • Now click on Search engine in the left column.
  • Open Manage search engines and site search menu and click "Add" near Site search
  • Enter at "Name": Swisscows; "Shortcut": :s; "URL with %s in place of query": https://swisscows.com/web?query=%s
  • Press "Add".
  • Near Swisscows, click the "More actions" icon and select Make default.

Opera

  • From the left sidebar select the gear icon (Settings)
  • Scroll settings page to "Search engine" section.
  • Now click on "Manage search engines and site search".
  • Under Site search engines click "Add".
  • Enter at "Name": Swisscows; "Keyword": :s; "URL with %s in place of query": https://swisscows.com/web?query=%s
  • Press "Add".
  • Now you can search with Swisscows using in address bar the keyword :s before your search query, for example: ":s Mexico".
