To install and use Swisscows.VPN, proceed as follows:
- Click on Windows character on the Swisscows.VPN website and download this file.

- Click on it and follow the instructions.

- "SwisscowsVPNInstaller.msi" is an executable file. Executable files may contain viruses or other malicious code that could harm your computer. Use caution when opening this file. Are you sure you want to launch "SwisscowsVPNInstaller.msi"? Click on "OK" here.

- Click on "More information" in the next field.

- Click on "Run anyway" here.

- Now click on "Next".

- Click on "Next" and allow the installation.

- Allow the installation.

- Close the window with "Close".

- You now have a Swisscows.VPN shortcut on the screen. You can start the application with a double-click.

- Allow Swisscows.VPN to be started.

- Start here with "SIGN IN" and get started. However, if you do not yet have a Swisscows account, you should create one first. In this case click on "CREATE NEW ACCOUNT".

- So that you can access the Swisscows.VPN app quickly, fix it in the taskbar on the desktop. Click on the Swisscows.VPN LOGO (Fig. 1) with the right mouse button and then click on "Pin to taskbar" (Fig. 2) with the left mouse button. Now you can start the application by clicking on the Swisscows.VPN LOGO.

- Click on the Swisscows.VPN LOGO in the taskbar on the desktop to start the application. Then click on "LOGIN" and enter your Swisscows account login data (...@email + password) and confirm by clicking on "ENTER".

- Here you have the option of checking your subscription or changing the language under Settings. (Fig. 1) To do this, click on the menu bar at the top right.
To return to the country server selection, click on the large cross at the top right (Fig. 2).

- Now select the desired country server (Fig. 1) by clicking on the yellow server area and clicking on the desired country (Fig. 2).

- Now click on the red button (Fig. 1). If it lights up green, the Swisscows.VPN service is active. By clicking on the green button (Fig. 2) you deactivate the VPN service. And by clicking on the cross in the top right-hand corner (Fig. 2), you close the application.
